I wish to know: [Sorry to ask too many questions!]

1: Why do some dentists prefer one type of the implant instead of the other?
2: Which type of implants are better - Parallel or Conical?
3: Which are considered to be "advanced/modern/latest" - Parallel or Conical?
4: What are the advantages of one; which the other does not have OR can not offer?
5: Besides the Parallel & Conical Implants; which other kinds of implants are being manufactured in USA/Europe?
6: Are ALL the implants made of Titanium Grade 4? Why?

1. Depends on brand you use to perform surgery, each brand haves its tools, the surgery kit of intruments from i3, doesnt work on Miss, or other brands for example.
2. Parallel or Conical: Conical its similar physiologycally to a dental root, so it could be better, but theres some reasons for not goingo on conical on upper jaw (maxilla)
3. Conical Are The latest Technology but you can use it for everything.
4. ?¿?¿?¿?¿?
5. The best brank to this date its i3, Branemark brand, are from Sweden and its engineered by the doctor that discovered the dental implants, Dr. Branemark.
6. Titanium Grades are a fake and cheating information that gives dentists in USA, When you buy implants to your dental depot, or dental provider, they dont sell implants by titanium grade. all are titanium grade 5. Dentist in USA use to give that information to look like they are so technologically specialists or something like that, or they are giving you titanium implants because theres grades 1 and 2 and 3......, actually the only implants are made in grade 5.

Why do some men like red sports cars and some like black? Personal preference, as far as I know.

What are the advanatages of red sports cars versus black sports cars? Black shows dirt less easily. But then it also gets hotter inside too, and it nets out no advantage.

What is considered more "moderen"- red or black sports cars? Depends on where you live, I guess.

Besides red and black, what other colors of sports cars are available? All sorts of different colors- more than you will ever need.

Thanx, Dr. Alonso!

I understand & realize what U mean REF: Nº 6.

REF: Nº 4: "What are the advantages of one type of Implants [OR one type of Ti Grade]; which the other types/grades does not have OR can not offer?"

The other questions are:

REF: Mainly Titanium Grade 4 & Grade 5

1: Which Manufacturers use the Ti Grade 4 and which use Grade 5; as the Raw Material?
2: Is it because the Ti Grade 5 better than the Ti Grade 4? Or vice versa? If so; in what way?
3: Is it because the Ti Grade 5 cheaper than the Ti Grade 4?
4: Any valid [scientific] reasons & justifications for the choice between the Ti 4 & Ti 5?
5: Amongst all the different Ti Grades; which is the best for the osseo-integration?
6: Are other Raw Materials being used for manufacturing the dental implants? Which? Why?

Pl. DO keep in touch!

Thanking you,

With warmest regards,

As far as the generic pharmaceuticals are concerned; they are not only affordable to the masses but are also widely accepted by the doctors; simply because they are 100% on par with the quality of the original brands.

I believe that with time, the same can also be made to happen as far as the dental-implants are concerned; by rigid Quality-Control and by educating the patients & the professionals.

Once the question of patents is sorted out; could this be one of the effective ways of overcoming the monopoly of the Famous Multinational; [EXPENSIVE] Brands?
