Dental Extraction Day 6

User Level:
Patient
Posted by: Wrathsofgod  (6 years ago)
I recently got my wisdom teeth removed, but I'm not so sure if they are healing properly. From what I've been feeling these past few days the pain has been bearable with the only pain being caused by the gum nearest the site. I usually bite down on the tooth above the gum to sooth the pain, aside from the medication given. I'm just not sure if it's on the right track. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Occasionally, small sharp fragments of bone may work through the gum tissue during the healing process. This is why the pain after tooth surgery is very common but don’t forget to follow the prescription as directed by your dentist. Even if the pain persists, check with your dentist.
