My daughter lost one of her baby bottom lateral incisors a couple of weeks ago. I am so concerned because her permanent tooth isn’t coming through. I can’t even see any evidence that it is under her gums. Is this normal? What could be the reason for this?

May be blocked out by crowding. Gosh, two weeks is not a long time. I would not go bezerk just yet. Plenty of times I have seen primary tooth loss with a few months delay before permanent eruption.
