Hi everyone!

For the past week, I noticed that my gums bleed after brushing so I went to the dentist today for the first time in my life. He told me that I need deep cleaning because I have gum disease. How's this procedure done? Will I lose my teeth soon? I am really nervous about this. Thanks a lot!

Hello!

They will numb the area that needs deep cleaning procedure. Through an ultrasonic device and scalers, they will remove the plaque around the teeth and gums. It's a simple procedure.

Hi Wantgarnet!

A minor gum disease can be treated easily as long as you follow your dentist's advice. You may request for a nitrous oxide to help you relax during the procedure.
