Damaged bridge

User Level:
Patient

Dear Doctor,

About a year ago, I had a fixed bridge installed. Two days ago, it has chipped and cracked while I was eating. It’s very noticeable. Can I have it redone at a discounted priced? I am really worried that I may start all over again. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

You will have to start all over again. The hard part will be removing the cemented bridge. The only question is what your dentist will charge to redo it. Problems like these are why we hardly ever do fixed bridges anymore. Implants with implant crowns are now the preferred treatment.
