CT Scan and Dental X-ray

Hi there!

Two weeks ago I had a CT scan of my head. Next week I am scheduled to visit my dentist who will also perform some X-rays for my yearly check-up.

Is it okay to have an x-ray three weeks after a CT scan? Please advise me as I am really concerned about the radiation exposure thing. Thank you.

Best Regards!

Hi haveimplant!

Take the CT scan report with you; it could be helpful for my fellow colleague..

You don’t need to worry though if s/he does need to produce some new scans; the radiation exposure is minimal!

All the best!

Thank you Doc. It's good to know that the amount of radiation is negligible.
