Crown Build up

Hi,
I would like to know how long you can wait between getting a build up and then getting the crown.
User Level:
Dentist
Wait for approx 2-3 weeks until you get relief from pain. It requires at least two visits to your dentist. Initially the dentist removes decay, shape the tooth, and fit it with a temporary crown of either plastic or metal.
On the subsequent visit, Your dentist will remove the temporary crown and then fit and adjust the final crown. Finally, They will cement the crown into place and you have a new beautiful looking tooth.
