Cramp-like feeling after wisdom teeth extraction!

User Level:
Posted by: drusilla  (11 years ago)

On Thursday, all four of my wisdom teeth were pulled and ever since then I’ve been experiencing slightly swollen cheeks and light to moderate pain. The bad thing is that when I’m biting, my teeth on the left side (upper and lower jaw) touch each other first and this is not the case at all on the right side. Now I don’t know whether this is happening because one of my teeth was filled just one week before surgery or if this happened because of the surgery itself. Furthermore, I have a constant cramp in my lower jaw if I don’t take any pain medication, which forces me to continually compress my teeth. I’m wondering if this is normal or if my case is unique. Thank you very much in advance for answering my questions.
