The dentist also sent me to a non-medical practitioner. He determined that there is an entire herd for bacteria located in the lower jaw bone. Thus, is it probable that a jaw bone infection is still present? He has treated me homeopathically without any visible success as of yet. I’m already thinking about going to the university hospital and having myself thoroughly examined. What do you think?
About five weeks ago, I underwent a wisdom tooth surgery (in the lower jaw). After two weeks, the disinfecting tape was removed after which I developed pain and ague. The orthodontist treated me with Amoxicilin 1000 and additional tape for about five days. It didn’t help much and I felt worse and worse. However, the pain wasn’t so bad – just my general condition. Last Friday, I saw a dentist. She tended the wound and I felt better right away. However, she did not place any disinfecting tape on the wound because she said that I don’t tolerate the antibiotics that are in the tape very well. I was fine for three days, but then I got ague (without fever) yesterday and I was no longer doing well. Today, she scraped the wound again (under local anesthesia) and inserted a tape, but without disinfectants. In the evening, I started experiencing the same discomfort again, accompanied by shivering and weakness. I don’t know what else I should do. The whole affair has been going on for more than a month now and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better! What should I do?
