Clot came out

I had left lower wisdom tooth extracted last Friday, Exactly one week today. Everything had been going fine. Last stitch came out today. No pain from the beginning. Ate dinner and rinsed mouth with warm salt water and I think I rinsed to harshly because I spit out water and clot in sink. I started freaking out. It is Friday evening and my OS is closed until Monday. I looked in the mirrir and i see it is dark deep hole. Just happened. No severe pain yet, but can or will I get dry socket? If so, what can I do to prevent it from happening before getting in to be seen on monday.

Best to have the area checked by your dentist as soon as possible, just to determine if the clot was disrupted before the area has had time to properly heal. An article on thisisdentistry.co.uk mentioned that pain and swelling usually accompanies a dry socket issue - the fact that you haven't experienced those is a good sign, but it is best to be very careful not to touch the area unnecessarily before you can have it checked by a dentist. Good luck!
