Can you tell from this xray what has been causing long term?

The tooth that you can see is an incisor. It is next to an implant but the pain does not seem to be coming from the implant area but from the area of gum around the incisor.
Can you see what is causing the problem?

Problem like this require detailed clinical investigation with the patient in the office. They cannot be diagnosed by x-ray alone.

I would go to a specialist but at the moment I am traveling in Australia and my insurance does not cover it. I went for one expensive visit and the periodontist said he could see something but didn`t tell me what it is and I could not afford to go again.
