Broken dental post

I have my posts with crowns in my two top middle teeth for 7 years; however, one of the crowns came loose and the post inside was broken. I went to the dentist but she cannot remove the broken post so she cemented it back in but didn’t stay intact for long. It came loose after only a week. She advised me to have a bridge or an implant put in but these are very expensive. Is there any other procedure that I can do to fix my problem? Any information are very much welcome. Thanks!
