Bone graft done right after tooth extraction

Hi there!

I broke my first upper left molar and half of it was gone. The dentist said what was left of the tooth is in bad condition and will have to be extracted. I will get a partial denture and in about six months, I will get an implant. The dentist said I need a bone graft done immediately during the extraction for the future implant.

The tooth extraction along with the bone graft was performed about a month ago. I was able to bear the pain for the first few days. However, I started to become swollen and had a lot of pain and discomfort. The dentist said the swelling is due to the bad tissue that has been removed. After a week, I had pressure over my upper back teeth and the swelling in my face became bigger. I went to the dentist, he took x-rays, he did not see any problem but he told me I could possibly have a sinus infection. He gave me decongestants. After a week, none of my symptoms had improved so I went back to the dentist. He gave me a prescription for Augmentin for 7days. He said I should be already fine after this. I am almost done with the Augmentin but I am still very much swollen and still had pressure over my teeth.

Can you please advise me on my situation? How long will this take to heal? Recently, the gum at the extraction site feels prickly. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.
