Hi,
I was too afraid to proceed with root canal therapy. I believed it to be very painful. But one of my mates told me that, it's not such an headache to have a root canal. And more than that, the pain is so high. So, I have decided to go for it, Can you suggest the pros and cons of it? If you can refer me a good service for this root canal purpose, it will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Not sure what you are asking, since you have already made the decision to have a root canal. You can go to a specialist, or a qualified general dentist in your area. Not all general dentists do root canals on molar teeth. I have run cost estimates for patients hundreds of times, and saving teeth via root canals always is more economical than extraction, bone grafts, CAT scans, surgical guides, implants, and implant crowns.

Advantage of having a root canal therapy in your teeth is you don’t have to extract the tooth, You can keep the tooth and definitely You'll not lose the bone around the tooth but there’s no such thing as a 100% clean root canal. It can be hard to sit with your mouth open for a few hours during the procedure.
A root canaled tooth needs protection because you’ve carved out the tissue inside it. Enter: the crown, which is a rigid covering that is stronger than enamel that preserves the structural integrity of the tooth and prevents it from breaking. The main reason for getting a root canal instead of an implant is that it’s simpler to keep your old tooth, even though it’s dead, because you can still benefit from having the structure of the dead tooth to chew food and help you speak properly.

Hello,
In the past, teeth with diseased nerves have been removed from the mouth. However, through a root canal, most of the diseased tooth can be salvaged. In most cases, the root canal procedure is a simple treatment that involves little to no patient discomfort.
