Anxiety prior to visiting the dentist

User Level:

I have several pressing issues (the extraction of a transverse wisdom tooth, an implant in the gap just in front of that, and some others).

I have known about it for years and I cannot get myself to do something about it. Visiting the dentist is pretty nerve-wracking for me. I always request local anesthesia and I can just barely manage to get by even when simple odds and ends are the only thing on the agenda. The thought of somebody performing a surgical procedure to remove teeth and insert metal pieces is pretty nerve-wracking to me.

My desperate Googling yesterday repeatedly led me to links to your practice and my hope is that you could offer me a solution for this problem.

Therefore, my question is: I need something extra that would allow me to undergo these treatments. Do you offer any other possibilities besides a general anesthetic? If so, what are these and what do these treatments cost (implant with bone augmentation and the anesthetic or an alternative sedative)?

Thank you very much,
