Acidic Saliva

Hello there!

My front teeth seem to be eroding pretty fast. I have an acidic saliva which I probably got from drinking soda and iced tea everyday. Can acidic saliva cause enamel erosion? What can I do to save my enamel? Is there a way to cure acidic saliva?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Hello!

Cut acidic foods and juices like orange juice, grapefruit, tomatoes and carbonated beverages from your diet. They decrease salivary pH and make saliva acidic which can damage the enamel.

Test the balance in your mouth to determine how acidic your saliva is. Increase your intake of berries, fruits, vegetables and other alkaline foods.
