Dr. Steven Koos, DDS, MD is one of a select few "dual-degree" oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the nation who has obtained both dental and medical degrees. His extensive education, training, and experience makes him an expert in all phases of oral and maxillofacial surgery, however, his primary practice focus is dental implants, bone augmentation (grafting), wisdom teeth extraction, and sedation and general anesthesia.

Dr. Steven Koos specializes in oral, maxillofacial surgery and has extensive experience with dental implants and dental implant surgical procedures. He treats a wide variety of patients of all ages. He has been placing dental implants for over a decade now and has successfully treated thousands of patients. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School and also obtained a Medical Degree from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Koos furthered his training and education through a six year intensive residency program in General Surgery and eventually focusing on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Mt Sinai Hospital, and MetroHealth Hospital of Cleveland.
