Fermite

Fermit ® is a dental filling material that is used for temporary prostheses. Fermit ® is a substance that hardens when it comes in contact with light. Especially after tooth stump preparation for ceramic inlays, this plastic material is applied as a provisional filling material. If applied correctly, Fermit ® will seal and protect your grinded down tooth from thermal sensitivity for about a week. Please note that this material shouldn't be kept in the mouth longer than a week since it risks leaking. A week after preparation, the ceramic inlays are completed and can be inserted in the patients mouth after removal of the Fermit ® solution.
