Severe pain after tooth extraction

I had a tooth break a week ago, soon after I had pain and swelling. Saw the dentist, was told tooth must have been cracked for a long time as it was decayed all the way to the boneand was now infected and must be pulled. I was put on antibiotics (Z-pack) and scheduled extration for 2 days later. Prior to the extraction I had alot of facial swelling and pain in the area of sinus cavity, eye back to jaw joint and included ear pain. Tooth was extracted yesterday, was a simple extraction, dentist put gelfaom in the socket. I followed aftercare instructions. Today I have severe pain in sinus area, roof of mouth, eye and ear. I attempted to contact the dentist but conveniently they are closed on fridays. Norco 10-325 has no affect on the pain, have rinsed with salt water as directed, blood clot is visible in socket have done hot/cold compresses all with no relief. Should I be concerned? Seek medical attention?
