I have a gum on one of my upper molars. The tooth does not ache but there is a discharging from it. I went to see a dentist today. He said, the tooth is dead and the only option is extraction. He told me I can keep the tooth until there's a pain, which will indicate the need for extraction. This tooth had a canal and a filling done several years ago.
Is extraction the best way to go? The tooth is not giving me any pain. Once the tooth is extracted, I will not get a replacement because I do not have an insurance and I can't afford an or a yet. Please help me on what to do! I greatly appreciate your advice! Thank you so much in advance!
