I had a 5 large bridgework done on the lower right side. It's been 3 months, still can't chew on it, it aches all the time, hurts to floss there, had three adjustments & am really frustrated as this cost me $4000. I feel like my dentist is frustrated with me. What could be causing this?

This is the reason we do not do bridges much anymore. Probably one of the pulps of the teeth that were cut down is inflamed, and needs a root canal. Next time, replace missing teeth with implants.

The part of the bridge that is giving me grief is underneath one of the fake teeth section. The two teeth they cut down don't seem to bother me. Do you think I would need a root canal there? I wanted implants but he told me my gums were to thin. He wanted me to go with removeable plates which I didn't want.

Unless the gums under the fake tooth are puffy and inflamed under the fake tooth, I haven't a clue without examining you. If the contact between the fake tooth and gums is to hard, or the undersurface of the fake tooth is too rough, the gums will stay inflamed.
